Sanaa: The Skills Development Fund on Tuesday concluded a training program titled 'Digital Marketing for Universities,' which aimed to build the capacities of 20 staff members and administrators from Al-Rasheed Smart University in institutional digital marketing skills.
According to Yemen News Agency, the 11-day program was funded and supervised by the Skills Development Fund and implemented by the university's Language and Development Center. The initiative sought to equip participants with skills in digital reputation management, creative content production, social media advertising campaign management, as well as data analysis and measuring the return on digital marketing activities.
The Executive Director of the Fund, Ali Al-Qasimi, stated that the program is part of a series of training initiatives financed by the Fund for its beneficiaries across various sectors and specializations, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of employees in those institutions. He emphasized the importance of such programs, describing them as modern training tracks supported by the Fund due to their tangible impact on improving participant performance. Al-Qasimi noted that digital marketing has become a fundamental pillar for the success of any economic or service activity.
The President of Al-Rasheed University, Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, highlighted that the program is part of a comprehensive training plan targeting all university staff at different administrative levels to enhance their capabilities across various fields required for work.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the University's Language and Development Center, Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Shujaa, pointed out that the program adopted a practical and applied methodology. Participants were assigned individual and group projects to reflect the knowledge they gained and apply it to their work tasks and responsibilities.
