Sana’a: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja’alah visited al-Ihsan Home for the elderly in the capital Sana’a. During this visit, he was accompanied by Assistant Undersecretary for the Social Welfare Sector Yasser Sharaf al-Din, where they examined the home’s operations and the services provided to its 110 residents.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Baja’alah listened to the needs of the residents and instructed the ministry to enhance care programs. He also emphasized the importance of coordinating with the care sector to improve services for the elderly. The Minister expressed appreciation for the home’s level of care and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
He highlighted that al-Ihsan Home stands as a model for providing comprehensive care to the elderly, which includes shelter, health, and nutrition.
