Socotra: Socotra governor Hashem al-Soqotri sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat following the death of his mother. In the cable, the Governor expressed his sincere condolences and deep sympathy over this painful loss, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the local authority in Socotra governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Soqotri prayed that God Almighty grant the deceased His vast mercy and forgiveness, admit her into Paradise, and grant her family and relatives patience and solace during this difficult time.
