Shar'ab al-salam: The team Sokour Azban (Azban Falcons) was crowned champions of the Greatest Messenger Football League in Shar'ab Al-Salam District, Taiz Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the team's coronation came after their victory in the final match against the Nawaris Al-Zawhah team, as part of the first stage of the tournament organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, in celebration of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi).
The final match was characterized by a high technical and competitive level, dominated by intensity and enthusiastic crowd support. The Falcons started the match by imposing their attacking rhythm and controlling the midfield, enabling them to score the opening goal.
In response, Al-Zawhah demonstrated readiness and tactical bravery, allowing them to get back into the match and equalize, intensifying the competition in the critical minutes of the game.
Just before the final whistle, the Falcons' forwards seized a decisive opportunity and found the back of the net, scoring the winning goal and securing the championship amid a wide crowd reaction.
At the conclusion of the match, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office branch in the district honored the "Sokour Azban" team with the championship trophy and gold medals, and the "Nawaris Al-Zawhah" team with the runner-up trophy and silver medals, along with honoring the organizing committees and participating teams in appreciation of their effective contribution to the tournament's success.
