Sana’a: The Southern Movement component of the National Dialogue Conference, a signatory to the Peace and Partnership Agreement, has expressed support for the Yemeni Armed Forces’ decision to reinstate the ban on the passage of all Israeli ships.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Southern Movement component described the reinstatement of the ban as a victory and a show of support for Gaza, its residents, and fighters. The move is seen as a response to ongoing actions by the Zionist entity, which include alleged war crimes and genocide against humanity. These actions reportedly involve a blockade on Gaza, restricting access to essential resources such as water and electricity, and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid.
The statement highlighted that the decision to resume the ban followed the expiration of a four-day deadline given to the Zionist entity to lift the siege on Gaza and allow relief aid to enter through the Gaza Strip crossings.
Furthermore, the statement underscored the vigilance of the Yemeni leadership and people against the American-Zionist enemy, emphasizing a strategy of reciprocal escalation. It stressed Yemen’s commitment to supporting Gaza and its people, maintaining unity of purpose until victory is achieved.
The Southern Movement component also urged the international community and freedom-loving individuals worldwide to stand in solidarity with Yemen’s principled positions. It called on them to continue supporting Palestine, its residents, and the resistance efforts in Gaza.
Finally, the statement called for bolstering the resilience of the Palestinian people and their resistance against enemy plans aimed at displacement and the perpetration of war crimes.
