Sana'a: The component of the Southern Movement participating in the National Dialogue Conference that signed the Peace and Partnership Agreement has condemned the Saudi aggression against Sana'a International Airport, describing it as a full-fledged war crime.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Southern Movement highlighted in a statement that this act adds to what they termed as the bloody Saudi criminal record against Yemen, its land, and its people. The statement was received by the agency and expressed strong disapproval of the attack.
The Southern Movement commended the Yemeni Armed Forces for their response, specifically the operation targeting Abha Airport, as a counteraction to the aggression at Sana'a Airport. They emphasized that Yemen will not remain passive in the face of any aggression, escalation, or reckless actions by the forces of aggression, siege, and occupation.
The statement also placed responsibility on Saudi Arabia for the breakdown of de-escalation efforts, urging the United Nations and its envoy to take responsibility in addressing these issues. Additionally, it acknowledged the supportive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in standing by the Yemeni people and aiding in breaking the siege.
