Speaker of Parliament Congratulates His Algerian Counterpart on Anniversary of November 1 Revolution

Sana’a: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, sent a congratulatory cable to the Speaker of the National People’s Assembly of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ibrahim Boughali, on the occasion of the Algerian people’s celebrations of the glorious November 1 Revolution anniversary.



According to Yemen News Agency, the message from Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i emphasized the significance of the November 1 Revolution, marking Algeria’s struggle for independence. The anniversary is a momentous occasion for Algerians, commemorating the beginning of the revolution in 1954, which ultimately led to Algeria gaining independence from French colonial rule in 1962.



The revolution is celebrated annually on November 1, with various events and activities taking place across Algeria to honor those who fought for the country’s freedom. The Speaker’s message highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties and solidarity between the two nations, reinforcing the importance of continued cooperation and mutual support.
