Sana'a: Speaker of Parliament Yahya al-Ra'i on Monday sent a congratulatory telegram to Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat, and the members of the Supreme Political Council, along with the brave heroes of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, and all the steadfast people of Yemen, on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, on behalf of Parliament, the Presidium, and the General Secretariat, the Speaker of Parliament extended his sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the anniversary of the migration of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Medina, a migration that was not merely a relocation but rather the dawn of a new era whose light shone upon the entire world.
He affirmed that the Prophet's migration instilled in the nation enduring values and principles from which everyone draws timeless lessons in loyalty and patience in the face of adversity. He emphasized that these profound meanings necessitate the mobilization of energies and efforts to unify the nation in confronting critical challenges.
Al-Ra'i said, "The Yemeni people and their leadership, through their sincere adherence to the path of Muhammad, have demonstrated the most magnificent acts of heroism in confronting conspiratorial plots. They have steadfastly pursued the causes of the homeland and the nation, foremost among them the honorable support for the Palestinian people. They did not resort to half-measures but rather faced all these challenges with courage and capability in a time of betrayal."
He added, "In the name of God and in the name of the people, we stand with you, elevating effort, thought, and word. So proceed with us-with what you have resolved and with your reliance on God-in the path of raising the banner of justice, truth, and religion."
Al-Ra'i saluted the steadfastness of the Resistance Axis, congratulating the Islamic Republic of Iran on its resilience, steadfastness, and victory in the face of Israeli-American aggression.
He praised the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in thwarting and foiling the Zionist-American criminal plot, defeating Zionist arrogance, and shattering the aura of Zionist power.
The Speaker of Parliament pointed out that this victory forced the enemy to plead with mediators for a ceasefire, emphasizing that "whoever has the power to ignite wars does not have the power to stop them, because only the victor has the power to stop them."
Al-Ra'i explained that the enemies of the nation, by abandoning the most basic humanitarian obligations, have become a grave threat to the security and stability of the region and the world.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to "protect Yemen and all the countries of the Islamic nation, to avert all harm from them, and to crown your efforts with success and guidance, so that through you the nation may be elevated," and to make it a year of goodness, prosperity, and blessings for the entire Islamic nation.
