Speech Event at University of Yemen Celebrates Noble Mawlid

Sana'a: The University of Yemen in Sana'a organized a speech event today to celebrate the Mawlid al-Nabawi. The event aimed to honor the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and reflect on his teachings.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Adel Hajer, highlighted the significance of learning from the Prophet's biography and the need to instill Muhammadan values in students. Dr. Hajer stressed the educational benefits of understanding the Prophet's life and how it can positively influence the younger generation.

During the event, the University President, Dr. Ali Muthaffar, made a significant announcement regarding financial relief for students. Dr. Muthaffar declared a 50% reduction in tuition fees and waived registration fees for the current academic year, providing much-needed support to students and their families.

The celebration included poetic and chanting segments that enriched the cultural experience of the event. Additionally, the university honored the families of martyrs, as well as participating students and administrative staff, recognizing their contributions and sacrifices.
