Launch of Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Competition at Quran Generation Schools in Capital Secretariat

Capital secretariat: Quran Generation Schools, affiliated with the Cultural Unit of the Women's Authority in Capital Secretariat, launched on Sunday the annual Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Competition as part of celebrations marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, about 500 female students from various Quran Generation Schools are participating, with 170 qualifying for the district-level rounds and the subsequent Capital Secretariat finals. The Quran competition official, Sima Muayad, stated that the event is part of the annual activities marking the Prophet's birthday and aims to foster a generation grounded in Quranic knowledge and committed to the Prophet's teachings.

She further noted that the competition provides an educational and spiritual platform to identify and encourage outstanding students in Quran memorization. The qualifying rounds will continue until the final competition, bringing together students from across the districts.

Sima Muayad added that the competition seeks to strengthen Quranic culture, deepen awareness of the Prophet's biography among younger generations, and link the celebration of the Prophet's birthday with knowledge, action, and emulation of the Prophet Muhammad.
