Sana'a: A speech event was organized in the Nehm District of Sana'a Governorate by the local authority and the General Mobilization, in coordination with the education sector, to mark the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event took place in the Ayal Sayyad locality and was attended by notable figures, including Shura Council member Mujahid Al-Nuaimi and First Deputy Governor Hamid Asim. During the event, Asim emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is a reflection of the love, reverence, and respect for Prophet Muhammad. He criticized misinformation campaigns led by scholars associated with regimes that have normalized relations with Israel, which aim to distance the nation from its noble Prophet.
Asim asserted that Yemenis have the right to celebrate the Prophet's birth, highlighting their historical support for him and their role in spreading his message globally. He urged for the occasion to be used as an opportunity to unite and reinforce the internal front against forces of tyranny and global arrogance.
The event also saw the participation of District Director Abdulwali Sarhan and District General Mobilization official Muzaffar Muzaffar. Education Sector official Hizam Al-Nuaimi reiterated the importance of the religious occasion as a moment to reflect on the Prophet's exemplary life and biography. He noted that the Prophet's birth signified the start of a new era that established the foundations of truth, justice, equality, values, and principles in society.
