Sana’a: The local authority of the New Sana’a District in Sana’a Governorate organized a speech symposium marking the anniversary of the Conquest of Mecca, as a continuation of what was described as the ‘Promised Victory’ battle and sacred jihad, and in preparation for the next round of confrontation with enemies.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the symposium, attended by Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Sammat, District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni affirmed that the Conquest of Mecca represented an important milestone in the course of the Muhammadan Islamic call. He pointed out that the Yemeni people today, as they witness what he described as the movements and crimes of global arrogant powers, must be prepared and vigilant for any escalation the American-Saudi enemy might undertake against the homeland. He stressed the need for full alertness toward any suspicious activity or movements within Yemeni streets, calling on the community to assist security personnel in such cases.
For his part, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Allama Khaled Mousa, called for drawing lessons from the biography of the Messenger of Allah-peace and blessings be upon him and his family-through prayer and jihad in the cause of God. He noted that jihad is an obligation ordained by God, just like fasting, prayer, and zakat.
He also addressed what he described as the brutal US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, asserting that Iran would not remain silent in the face of this aggression and would respond by targeting all American interests in the region. He further condemned the positions of some Gulf states, particularly those that have normalized relations with the Zionist entity, regarding the American-Israeli aggression against Iran, and their insistence on intercepting Iranian missiles and drones targeting American bases and warships stationed in the region.
He praised the positions of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation and his explicit declaration of support for the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting what he described as global arrogant powers and their agents in the region.
