Al-marawea: The Youth and Sports Office in Al-Marawea District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, has launched a series of sports activities to mark the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday. This initiative is being held under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth Office.
According to Yemen News Agency, the activities encompass various sports competitions, with a highlight being a cross-country race that sees the participation of over 80 players from different clubs and local teams. Additionally, the Prophet's Birthday Football Championship has commenced, featuring 13 teams in a group-stage format.
Al-Siham Al-Marawea Club is also set to host the 'Greatest Messenger' volleyball and chess championships, inviting teams from various sub-districts to participate. These events aim to foster community engagement, promoting the values of love and harmony among the youth as they celebrate the occasion.
Ibrahim Al-Mazzajji, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the district, emphasized that these activities are part of the annual events organized to celebrate the Prophet's birth. He views it as a religious, spiritual, and social occasion that not only upholds noble values but also invigorates sports and youth activities in the district.
