New york: Spot gold saw a slight increase of 0.1%, reaching $4,083.92 per ounce as market participants eagerly await upcoming U.S. economic data. The focus this week is on the September non-farm payrolls report, set to be released on Thursday, which will provide insights into the strength of the world's largest economy.

According to Yemen News Agency, other precious metals also experienced gains. Spot silver rose by 0.8% to $50.96 per ounce. Additionally, platinum increased by 0.7% to $1,552.36, while palladium climbed 1.7% to $1,408.13. These movements in precious metals markets reflect cautious optimism among investors as they seek guidance from impending economic indicators.
