Sana'a: A large public rally was held on Sunday in front of Sana'a International Airport in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces' statement and to express gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran's stance in breaking the blockade imposed on Yemen. The rally was held under the slogan, "The airport will open and the blockade will be broken... despite all the evildoers."
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rally, which was attended by both officials and members of the public, declared their full support for the Armed Forces in implementing the next steps necessary to break the blockade, end the aggression, and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, regardless of the sacrifices required.
At the rally, participants affirmed their general mobilization, readiness, and preparedness to implement the options adopted by the wise revolutionary leadership to end the aggression and the blockade and expel the occupiers. The participants renewed their absolute mandate to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and emphasized their unwavering support for Gaza and Palestine, the axis of jihad and resistance, and the causes and holy sites of the nation, as well as their opposition to the conspiracies of global hegemonic and arrogant powers.
Capital San'aa First Undersecretary Khaled Al-Madani affirmed that the demonstrations and marches have disrupted the calculations and plans of the American, Israeli, and Saudi enemies, which target the cohesion of the home front. He added that these demonstrations also embody the popular awareness and mobilization to end the blockade and the suffering of the Yemeni people and to reclaim their rights and national resources.
He emphasized the need for everyone to recognize the importance of a significant and sustained effort to break the 11-year-long siege imposed on Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom. He expressed appreciation for Iran's role in breaking one of the strongest links in the unjust blockade against Yemen, considering it a fraternal, humanitarian, and faith-based act.
Al-Madani addressed Saudi Arabia's interception of an Iranian civilian aircraft by its warplanes and its attempt to prevent it from landing at Sana'a International Airport, stating that this action clearly demonstrates to the Yemeni people who the enemy and friend are.
A statement issued at the rally, read by Dr. Qais Al-Tal, head of the Guidance Sector at the Secretariat, explained that the Yemeni people listened with great satisfaction to the statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces. This statement expressed the will of the free people and their desire and determination to avenge themselves against the treacherous and criminal Saudi regime, which launched an unjust aggression and imposed a blatant siege on Yemen, the land of faith, wisdom, and jihad, in response to its American and Zionist masters.
He affirmed that the criminal Saudi regime continues its aggression and occupation of large swathes of Yemeni territory, persisting in its blockade, malicious conspiracies, and stalling on agreements, reconstruction, the restoration of rights, and compensation for damages, all out of sheer tyranny, arrogance, and criminality.
The statement noted that, in stark contrast, the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken a great, courageous, and historic stance that the Yemeni people will never forget. It is working to break the blockade by resuming flights to and from Sana'a International Airport, thus demonstrating the unity of the Yemeni people, defying the tyrants of the world, and supporting the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and resistance.
The statement declared its full support for the statement issued by the armed forces, affirming complete backing for the missile, air, and naval forces. The statement also declared its full allegiance and absolute submission to the leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and its high level of readiness to wage a comprehensive war against the treacherous and criminal Saudi regime should it persist in its tyranny, aggression, occupation, and blockade.
It expressed appreciation to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its historic, great, and courageous stance in breaking the siege, affirming that the Yemeni people are free and will reciprocate loyalty with loyalty. He reiterated the commitment to the principle of unified fronts and unwavering, practical support for their brethren in Gaza.
The statement issued at the rally reaffirmed the official and popular readiness, relying on God Almighty, trusting in Him, and placing one's trust in Him, to strive to end the aggression, occupation, and siege, so that the Yemeni people may enjoy full independence and freedom, benefit from their national resources, live with dignity and pride, be free from dependency, and achieve a great renaissance based on their faith-based identity.
The statement announced the continuation of the general mobilization and comprehensive recruitment across all sectors, and the opening of training and qualification centers for military mobilization courses and various mobilization activities, including demonstrations, tribal gatherings, and maneuvers. The statement called upon all free people of Yemen, in the north and south, to unite and work diligently to confront the occupier until every inch of the homeland is liberated, its resources are recovered, and its freedom and independence are achieved.
The vigil was attended by local, executive, security and mobilization leaders, directors of offices and directorates of the Capital Sana'a, sheikhs, dignitaries, elders, social figures and a crowd of citizens.
