Sana'a: The leadership and employees of the Ministries of Economy, Industry, Investment, Information, and the General Authority for Lands organized a protest on Monday condemning the repeated insults against the Holy Qur'an. This protest was also in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and in solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the demonstration displayed slogans supporting the Qur'an, expressing disavowal of the enemies of Allah, and advocating for a boycott of American and Israeli goods. They also held Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting against American and Israeli arrogance, the desecration of Islamic sanctities, and condemning the ongoing Zionist crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
A statement issued by the protest denounced global Zionism and its systematic policy of insulting Islamic sanctities. It affirmed that such actions are part of a broader agenda aimed at targeting the Islamic nation militarily, economically, and culturally, with attempts to undermine Islamic holy sites as part of efforts to subjugate and control the nation.
The statement further condemned the continued crimes committed by Zionists against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, emphasizing the readiness of the Yemeni people to fulfill their religious and moral duties in confronting the forces of aggression and arrogance, and in defending holy sites. It also called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take effective action in support of Islamic sanctities and the causes of the nation, including boycotting American and Israeli goods.
