Sana'a: The Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control conducted a field inspection campaign targeting several production facilities and partially treated drinking water bottling stations in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the campaign is part of the organization's regular oversight efforts to ensure the quality of consumer products and verify compliance with approved technical standards, prioritizing consumer health and safety.
Director of the authority's Hajjah branch, Ali Al-Hajjaji, stated that inspection teams verified the technical processes carried out by the facilities in accordance with approved Yemeni standards and ensured that products were free of impurities and contaminants.
Al-Hajjaji also urged citizens to help monitor markets and report any non-compliant products or violations related to the quality, production, or storage of goods by calling the authority's toll-free number: 8001222.
