Sana'a: Tal Al-Zoumi team was crowned champions of the Mawlid al-Nabawi Football League for the year 1448 AH in Bajil District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, after defeating Al-Ruwwad Bajil team by a single goal in the final match, which was held in the presence of official, sports, and public audiences.
According to Yemen News Agency, the league was organized under the patronage of the local authority and the General Mobilization in the district, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, and organized by the Shabab Bajil Sports Club, with the participation of a number of sports teams from the district.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the Deputy Governor for Eastern Districts Affairs, Amer Muthanna, honored the tournament's top scorer Mohammed Al-Matari, the best goalkeeper Omran Qaba', the best player Ali Musa, the best coach Abdullah Saghir, and the most ethical player Alaa Al-Gharab, in addition to honoring the Tal Al-Zoumi and Al-Ruwwad Bajil teams, the refereeing crew of the final match, the organizing committee, and the media professionals who covered the tournament.
The Deputy Governor praised the efforts of the Youth and Sports Office in the district and the management of the Shabab Bajil Sports Club in organizing the tournament, affirming the importance of supporting sports and youth activities, nurturing talents, and fostering a spirit of competition among the youth.
