Sana'a: An expanded meeting held in Sana'a, attended by Executive Director General of the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Abdullah Al-Atifi and Head of the National Team for Simplifying and Facilitating Procedures Yahya Al-Marrani, discussed ways to develop institutional performance, streamline administrative and technical procedures, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Atifi stressed the importance of simplifying and updating procedures to improve the institutional work environment, facilitate transactions, and enhance performance efficiency, in line with national directions for administrative reform and anti-corruption efforts. He noted that the Authority places strong emphasis on developing its administrative and technical systems, automating procedures, and upgrading technical infrastructure to promote transparency, institutional discipline, and optimal use of resources.
For his part, Al-Marrani emphasized the need to support the Standards Authority in technical, administrative, and institutional aspects to enable it to develop its organizational structure, strengthen its technical capacities, and improve its regulatory and service performance. He pointed out that simplifying and updating procedures is a key pillar of administrative reform, contributing to reducing administrative and financial irregularities and reinforcing principles of integrity and transparency.
The meeting underscored the importance of reaching practical recommendations to improve existing procedures and enhance the Authority's institutional performance. It was attended by the Authority's Deputy Director for Financial Affairs Dr. Kamal Margham, Deputy Director for Standards, Research and Development Engineer Abu Al-Hassan Al-Nahari, members of the national team, and several department directors at the Authority.
