Taiz: Sam al-Bashiri, the Executive Director of the Yemen Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Authority, on Tuesday inspected the workflow at the Authority's branch in Taiz province. During his visit, al-Bashiri engaged with branch manager Riyadh al-Bukhaiti and other employees to discuss their work needs, challenges, and potential solutions.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Bashiri commended the progress made by the Taiz branch and reaffirmed his commitment to providing the necessary resources to enhance its consumer protection oversight. This inspection was crucial in identifying the branch's requirements and planning for improvements in the oversight of imported goods.
Al-Bukhaiti highlighted the significance of the Executive Director's visit, noting that it served as an essential step in assessing the branch's needs. The discussions focused on strategies to improve the branch's capabilities in ensuring the quality and safety of goods entering the province.
