Mahweet: Following Friday prayers, Mahweet governorate witnessed large stands under the slogan "Our monitoring continues, our hands are on the trigger, and mobilization continues," affirming the high level of readiness and steadfastness in confronting challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies, led by the governorate's deputies and local, executive, and security leaders, in the governorate's capital and the districts of Ar-Rujm, Shibam Kawkaban, al-Tawilah, al-Khabt, Hufash, Malahan, Bani Sa'ad, and Jabal al-Mahweet, raised banners affirming the unwavering popular and official stance in confronting the challenges and conspiracies targeting the homeland and the nation.
The people of the governorate reiterated their support for the nation's causes and their backing of the option of steadfastness and resilience in the face of the forces of aggression and arrogance. They praised the ongoing security achievements of the security forces, expressing their pride in the qualitative successes achieved, which reflect a high level of readiness and vigilance, and a responsible role in strengthening security and stability and thwarting conspiracies targeting the nation.
A statement issued by the participants affirmed their principled, humanitarian, and ethical stance in support of their brothers in Gaza and Palestine, and with Hezbollah in Lebanon. It called on free media outlets to highlight the situation in Gaza and Palestine, and to make the Palestinian cause the central issue for the nation.
The statement commended Hezbollah's operations in Lebanon and the losses it inflicts on Israeli forces, affirming full support for Hezbollah and standing with the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting American and Israeli threats, and upholding the principle of unified fronts. The statement strongly condemned the continued desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionists. It also condemned, denounced, and categorically rejected the granting of authority by the mercenary government, which does not represent the Yemeni people, to the Saudi regime to dispose of the Yemeni people's resources and sovereign wealth.
The statement called on everyone to confront the soft war by easing dowry requirements and reducing marriage costs, and by working to establish regulations to govern and limit these matters, in accordance with the teachings of Islam. The statement also affirmed the continued steadfast support for the issues of the Muslim world, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and rejected all forms of normalization and concessions. It reiterated the importance of adhering to Islamic identity and strengthening social cohesion in the face of challenges.
