State-Owned Enterprises Report Marginal Revenue Growth Amid Profit Decline

China: The total revenue of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and state-managed enterprises (SMEs) in China rose 0.2 percent year-on-year to 12.57 trillion yuan (approximately US$1.8 trillion) in January-February 2026. According to Yemen News Agency, official data from the Chinese Ministry of Finance, reported by Yemen News Agency, the total profits of these companies declined by 2 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 626.62 billion yuan. Their total tax payments amounted to 1.09 trillion yuan, a decrease of 2.3 percent. The liabilities-to-assets ratio for these companies reached 65.4 percent at the end of February, an increase compared to the level recorded at the end of December 2025, which was 65.1 percent.
