Al-mahwit: Schools in the districts of Al-Rajm, Al-Tawila, Al-Madina, and Malhan in Al-Mahwit governorate held student and educational demonstrations under the slogan: 'Mobilization and Alert. In Support of the Quran and Palestine.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the events condemned repeated U.S. insults to the Quran and ongoing aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people. Participants raised banners and slogans rejecting any offense against Islamic sanctities and emphasized that attacks on the Quran are part of a systematic effort to undermine the Islamic identity and values of the nation.
Students and teachers stressed that adherence to the Quran is a source of pride and strength for the Islamic community and highlighted the importance of promoting Quranic awareness among the youth to counter misleading campaigns.
The demonstrations reflected a high level of student and educational awareness and showcased popular opposition to offenses against Islamic sanctities while supporting just causes, particularly the Palestinian issue. Participants strongly denounced killings, destruction, and sieges faced by the Palestinian people, stressing that silence in the face of these crimes betrays the principles of the nation and called for a unified global stance to support the oppressed.
They also urged the reinforcement of educational and cultural programs to cultivate Quranic awareness, protect future generations from targeting campaigns, and build a conscious generation steadfast in its faith and identity.
