Sanaa: The State Legal Office organized a cultural seminar on Wednesday to commemorate Rajab Friday, under the theme of rooting faith-based identity, titled 'Faith is Yemeni, and Wisdom is Yemeni.'

According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Adnan al-Mahtouri, the Undersecretary of the State Cases Sector at the State Legal Office, emphasized the significance of this occasion, which marks the Islamization of the Yemeni people and their mass conversion to the religion of Allah. He remarked on how faith-based identity is deeply ingrained in the Yemeni conscience, serving as a divine tool to reform society and establish truth over falsehood.

Cultural activist Abdulbari al-Qurhi underscored the need to adhere to a faith-based identity, which he described as a robust defense against external efforts to weaken the awareness of future generations and control their thoughts. He elaborated on the prophetic traditions concerning the Yemeni people after their embrace of Islam, noting their pivotal role in supporting the Prophet, defending his Household, and spreading Islam globally.

Mohammed Jassar, Head of the Official Gazette Department at the State Legal Office, spoke on the decline experienced by some communities within the Ummah due to their detachment from faith-based identity. He contrasted this with Yemen's reality, where steadfast adherence to their faith-based identity has led to increased strength and dignity.
