Dhalea governorate: The Executive Committee for Summer Courses in Dhalea Governorate organized the closing ceremony for the summer courses for girls at Al-Zahraa Schools in Damt and Juban districts under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event, held in Juban district, featured a speech by Zainab Al-Sayyadi, head of the Women's Authority in the governorate. She praised the students' proficiency in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran and highlighted the success of the summer courses and the high turnout of students. Al-Sayyadi emphasized the importance of these courses as a platform for strengthening values and morals, providing an educational foundation for future generations. The courses offered activities that helped students memorize and recite the Holy Quran, along with other beneficial programs.
The ceremony included recitations and the honoring of students. In Damt district, Salwa Al-Saqqaf, Director General of Women's Development in the governorate, noted the courses' success in imparting religious and Quranic knowledge, as well as various skills to female students. She described the courses as a strong shield for the younger generation against adversaries. Al-Saqqaf attributed the success of the summer activities to the cooperation between officials and the public, and she acknowledged the community's and parents' eagerness to send their daughters to the courses as a reflection of their awareness in addressing challenges and preventing ignorance.
The event concluded with various segments and the honoring of the students.
