Sana'a: The summer courses and schools for the year 1446 AH are receiving direct attention and follow-up from the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the leadership of the local and executive authorities in the provinces. These schools play an effective role in instilling Quranic culture and strengthening the faith identity in the hearts of male and female students.
According to Yemen News Agency, the summer schools are proceeding with great enthusiasm and unprecedented activity, implementing various activities and programs across all summer schools in the districts, most notably Quran memorization and Quranic culture. The active participation of parents, who enroll their children in more than 1,682 schools and mosques accommodating 134,993 male and female students, distinguishes these activities.
The summer courses primarily focus on raising awareness about the seriousness of the current phase facing the nation. This involves educating and fortifying the younger generations against the conspiracies led by global powers targeting them through soft or direct warfare. These courses provide an opportunity to hone the talents and skills of students, preparing them to confront and overcome enemy plots.
Sana'a governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi emphasized the importance of summer courses in stimulating the positive energies of young people and students, developing their sense of participation, and preparing them spiritually and mentally. He highlighted the local authority leadership's commitment to the success of these courses and noted the eagerness to review activities, address difficulties, and ensure the achievement of objectives.
Deputy Governor for Education and Youth Talib Dahan explained that preparations for the summer schools began well in advance. He emphasized the importance of these courses in preparing young people scientifically, morally, and culturally. Dahan also addressed the media campaigns against the courses and highlighted the revolutionary leadership's support in arming students with Quranic culture.
Province's mobilization official Fayez al-Hanmi and Director of the New Sana'a district Abdullah al-Marwani pointed out the momentum and significance of the summer courses. They emphasized their role in protecting young people from destructive ideas and strengthening their faith-based identity.
Director of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office Abdul Mohsen al-Sharif and Aziz al-Rajali, head of the technical education sector, highlighted the courses' role in confronting soft warfare and instilling values of truth, freedom, and dignity. They urged parental involvement and stressed the courses' potential benefits in various fields.
Operations Officer Ali al-Jahmi and Director of Educational Media Ali al-Mikhlafi explained that the summer courses feature diverse activities that develop students' skills and confidence. These activities include teaching Quranic culture, arts, public speaking, and recreational trips.
