Hodeidah: The Guidance Sector and the Scholars Unit in Hodeidah convened a cultural symposium to honor the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zaid bin Ali, under the theme 'Whoever loves life lives in humiliation.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured remarks from the first deputy governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, who highlighted the symposium as a pivotal moment for reaffirming revolutionary values and dignity, particularly in light of the ongoing genocide faced by Palestinians. Al-Bishri noted that Imam Zaid's defiance during a period of silence serves as an inspiration for Yemeni people in their ongoing fight for freedom.
Furthermore, Al-Bishri underscored the significance of the symposium's timing with the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' campaign, signifying a united stance and the deep-rooted connection to the Palestinian cause and the significance of Jerusalem as a religious and moral priority.
