Taiz:The Taiz branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families convened an extensive meeting on Saturday. Representatives from various districts across the governorate attended to discuss the plan for commemorating the “Martyr’s Anniversary” for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ali Al-Junaid, Director of the Authority’s branch in the governorate, highlighted that the Martyr’s Anniversary is a moment to express gratitude for the sacrifices made by the martyrs. He emphasized the occasion’s importance in reinforcing resilience and drawing inspiration from the values of self-sacrifice and devotion demonstrated by the martyrs in defense of the nation.
Al-Junaid called for a collective effort to ensure the success of the commemorative events, stating that honoring this occasion is a shared responsibility. He also mentioned that the Authority, under the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, is dedicated to enhancing care programs for the families of martyrs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and attention.
The meeting additionally reviewed the mechanisms for conducting field visits to the families of martyrs and discussed the types of gifts and symbolic tokens to be presented on the occasion.
