Taiz: The Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Taiz governorate held a speech event on Monday to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday for the year 1448 AH. The gathering was marked by the presence of Taiz undersecretary Mohammed Al-Khalidi and Director of the governorate's Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Talal Al-Soufi.

According to Yemen News Agency, Director of the Fund's Environmental Awareness Department, Asim Al-Sharjabi, emphasized the significance of the Yemeni people's commemoration of this important religious occasion. He stated that it serves as a spiritual safeguard against intellectual erosion and the abandonment of the sound Prophetic approach. Al-Sharjabi highlighted the importance of adhering to the Muhammadan message in confronting what he described as the 'soft war' and intellectual invasion aimed at distancing the nation from the Holy Quran and religious symbols. He urged the people of Taiz governorate, along with official and community institutions, to actively participate in the activities marking the Prophet's Birthday and take part in the central celebration on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal.

Cultural activist Ahmed Al-Bahri also addressed the attendees, describing the Prophet's Birthday as a pivotal occasion for drawing inspiration from lessons of dignity, honor, and liberation from tyranny and foreign influence. He noted that adherence to the Muhammadan approach has fostered strength and resilience in confronting Saudi-American pressures and thwarting hostile Zionist schemes. Al-Bahri called for collective mobilization to commemorate this significant religious occasion through decorations, social solidarity, and community awareness activities, stressing the importance of discipline and organizational awareness at central gathering venues.
