Taiz: Ten workshops and training courses on integrated planning methodology and rapid assessment were concluded in Taiz province, targeting 400 participants from local authorities and development sectors. The initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of participants in effective planning and assessment strategies within the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the programs were organized by the province's Planning Sector in cooperation with the cooperative sector and took place from 15 Rajab to 28 Sha'ban. The focus was on participatory and integrated development planning, including the preparation of the 1448-1450 AH strategic development plan and the 1448 AH annual executive plan.
Planning official Mohammed al-Washli emphasized that the courses were designed to strengthen self-sufficiency efforts through unified development planning. This approach is intended to ensure that the development strategies meet the actual needs of the community.
Participants in the workshops described the initiative as a key step toward coordinated, field-based planning. They highlighted the importance of community engagement in assessing needs and drafting the governorate's comprehensive development plan.
