Taiz: Several districts in Taiz governorate, including Sharab al-Salam, al-Rawnah, Khadir, Hayfan, and Maqbana, commemorated the Day of al-Wilayah of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on Saturday with massive public events under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master." The celebrations were attended by numerous officials, including members of the Shura Council and Deputy governors, and featured widespread public participation.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the events emphasized the importance of the anniversary in strengthening the bond with Imam Ali and the Prophet's family. They highlighted the concept of guardianship as crucial for correcting the nation's reality, mobilizing it, and restoring its glory.
The speakers underscored Imam Ali's qualities and struggle, noting the nation's need for his culture amidst current aggression and the subservience of some Arab regimes to global arrogance. Attendees were urged to embody sincere loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, strengthening unity and continuing steadfastness, asserting that such loyalty makes Yemen "impregnable to its enemies."
