Sana'a: On this day, June 14, the US-Saudi coalition repeatedly committed severe offenses against the Yemeni populace, resulting in the deaths and injuries of numerous individuals by targeting residential areas, marketplaces, roads, and vehicles.
According to Yemen News Agency, on June 14, 2015, airstrikes by the coalition's forces led to the deaths of 17 civilians, including five women, in the Asifrah al-Sufla area of the At-Ta'iziyah district in Taiz Governorate. This attack destroyed multiple homes and damaged several others. The air force also targeted a popular market on Al-Arbaeen Street and a tanker transporting mineral water on Al-Sitteen Street in Taiz City.
In Al-Jawf Governorate, 15 citizens lost their lives and many others were injured when airstrikes hit the central market, homes, roads, and vehicles carrying displaced families in Al-Hazm City. Additionally, an airstrike on a home belonging to the Al-Dayel family resulted in three deaths and injuries to three people in the same city. The aggression continued with raids on the Samah area in Dhamar Governorate, Green City at Aden's entrance, and other areas in Lahj, Sana'a, and Sa'dah Governorates.
On June 14, 2016, a 12-year-old boy was killed, and his brother was seriously injured by an explosion from a cluster bomb in Saada Governorate's Kitaf District. Further airstrikes were launched on various districts across Al-Jawf and Sana'a Governorates, with mercenaries targeting numerous civilian areas with weapons.
In 2017, coalition attacks persisted with airstrikes on civilian farms in the Mawza'a district of Taiz and further attacks across Marib, Sa'ada, and Hajjah Governorates. By June 14, 2018, seven civilians, including a woman, were killed in an airstrike in Saada's Ghamr district, and artillery shelling in Hajjah Governorate resulted in additional casualties.
The aggression continued in 2019, with multiple air raids across Sana'a, Hajjah, and Sa'ada Governorates, while mercenaries targeted residential areas in Hodeida City with artillery and machine guns. This pattern of violence persisted through 2020 and 2021, with repeated airstrikes and artillery shelling causing widespread damage and loss of life.
By June 14, 2022, combat fortifications were established around Marib City and other areas in Taiz, Dhale'a, and Jizan, with mercenaries targeting civilian homes across multiple governorates. The attacks continued into 2023, with reconnaissance aircraft launching raids and mercenaries establishing combat fortifications in Hodeida Governorate, inflicting further damage and chaos.
