Taiz:Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi has announced that the armed forces, in collaboration with local residents, have successfully expelled Saudi forces from 11 districts and reopened most of the roads that had been closed earlier this month.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Masawi noted that out of the 19 roads declared closed, only the Al-Qasr-Al-Kamb-City road remains inaccessible. He urged for its reopening to facilitate civilian movement.
Additionally, the Haifan-Tur Al-Baha and Al-Qubaita-Tur Al-Baha roads were partially reopened during daylight hours on Tuesday. There are expectations that these roads will soon be accessible around the clock.
The governor emphasized that attempts to disrupt public life and restrict the movement of residents have been thwarted through the cooperation between the local community and the armed forces.
