Taiz:The Taiz Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment has initiated an inspection campaign to enforce the approved prices and weights of bread across bakeries, ovens, and sales points within the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Director Afif Al-Dhabhani stated that field teams have begun verifying compliance by production and sales outlets with the official price list. The campaign will continue across the governorate's districts to prevent any manipulation of weights and measures.
Al-Dhabhani emphasized that ensuring citizens have access to their basic necessities at the prescribed prices and weights is a top priority for the office's operational plans. Violators who manipulate prices and weights will be referred to the relevant authorities as per legal regulations to protect consumer and business rights.
He also encouraged citizens to report any violations or breaches of supply regulations through the toll-free number 174 or other provided contact numbers for the governorate's Office of Economy.
