Taiz: The local authority in Taiz governorate organized a ceremony today to honor the pioneers of construction, development, production, and resilience, under the slogan "A hand that protects and a hand that builds."

According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony celebrated a selection of farmers, agricultural associations, companies, factories, workshops, innovators, and workers in the service sectors. They were awarded the Medal of Construction Arms for Production and Resilience in three main categories: "Knight of the Land" for the best farmers and agricultural associations, "Pioneer of Localization" for the best workshops, companies, factories, and innovators, and "Worker of Resilience" for loyal workers in the service sectors. This recognition aims to appreciate their contributions to supporting the national economy and establishing a culture of production.

The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al Masawi, emphasized the importance of these honorees as the makers of glory with their continuous efforts and contributions. He lauded their steadfastness in the fields of work, production, and service despite the challenges posed by the ongoing aggression and blockade. Al Masawi highlighted the national developmental approach that prioritizes supporting local products and empowering people, as directed by revolutionary leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.

Al Masawi further explained that the advancement of the nation begins with supporting farmers, workers, producers, and innovators. This support leads to caring for national forces that reject dependency and subservience, believing that dignity and sovereignty are achieved through production and reliance on local capabilities.

The Acting Governor praised the resilience of the Yemeni people, who have remained steadfast and innovative during years of aggression. He underscored the value of work and production over positions and titles. The ceremony also highlighted the significance of farmers, workers, innovators, and service workers in maintaining the country's resilience and continuity of services.

Al Masawi reaffirmed the local authority's commitment to transforming the governorate into a developmental hub, supporting local products, and encouraging innovation and national industries. During the event, attended by key figures such as the First Deputy Governor Mohammed Al Khalidi and other officials, Engineer Hussein Al Rashidi emphasized Taiz governorate's potential for leadership in development, agriculture, industry, and services.

Al Rashidi also reviewed the governorate's developmental vision and the honorary awards covering production, work, and service fields.
