Taiz: Taiz province undersecretary Taha Hammam, along with Director of the Economy, Industry, and Investment Office, Afif al-Dhabhani, and Director of Sala District, Muhammad Mohsen, recently inspected summer course activities at the Martyr Zaid Ali Musleh and al-Zahraa Schools in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ali al-Saruri, head of the Scholars and Learners Unit in the province, and other scholars also inspected summer courses at the Sultan, Al-Safa, Al-Fath, and Al-Khair Schools in al-Taezeyah district. During these visits, officials were briefed on the sports, recreational, and educational programs being offered, as well as the level of student engagement.
The officials underscored the significance of summer activities in facilitating the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran, while also protecting children and youth from false beliefs. They stressed the importance of teaching the Holy Quran and the Prophet's traditions, and educating students about the dangers of extremist ideas.
Additionally, the need for instruction in Arabic and other languages was highlighted, along with the integration of sports and cultural activities. The officials also emphasized organizing educational trips to highlight Yemen's tourist, historical, and natural attractions.
The efforts of teachers and parents were commended for their contributions to the success of these summer courses.
