Taiz:Brig. Gen. Mohammed Al-Khalid, assistant commander of the Fourth Military Region, along with engineer Bakil Humaid, head of the Public Works Sector in Taiz, conducted an inspection of ongoing road maintenance and rehabilitation projects within the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials assessed the progress of works being carried out on Al-Rubaie Road and 60th Street. They also reviewed the rehabilitation efforts of the ring road in Al-Qaida city, which are being implemented by the Public Roads and Bridges Corporation under the supervision of the Road Maintenance Fund.
Brig. Gen. Al-Khalid commended the ongoing efforts, emphasizing the significance of these projects in enhancing traffic flow and facilitating the movement of people and goods, thereby reducing public hardship. He urged for the acceleration of work and adherence to engineering standards to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the roads.
