Taiz: Residents from the districts of Taiz Governorate gathered on Friday in 85 squares in large popular marches under the slogan 'With Iran and Lebanon, We Commemorate the Day of Al-Furqan,' in response to the call of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, marking the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr and expressing solidarity with the Iranian people.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the marches, attended by local, security, military, and mobilization leaders, as well as social and educational figures, reaffirmed the Yemeni people's supportive stance toward the Iranian Muslim people. They raised Iranian, Palestinian, and Yemeni flags, affirming their principled position in confronting what they described as the tyrants of the era-Zionist Jews represented by the United States and Israel-just as the early Ansar confronted the tyrants of their time. The rallies also commemorated the Day of Al-Furqan, the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, reaffirmed support for the Iranian Muslim people, and declared full readiness to confront any developments while continuing support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, all the free and oppressed of the nation.

Participants noted that their mobilization stems from their Islamic, moral, and humanitarian duty, which they said embodies dignity, success, and salvation in this life and the hereafter through striving in the path of Allah and seeking His pleasure. A statement issued by the marches in Taiz Governorate congratulated the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, the 'Day of Al-Furqan,' stressing that this great historical milestone in the nation's path reminds people that truth ultimately prevails, even when its material capabilities are limited.

The statement renewed the pledge to Allah Almighty, His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to remain steadfast on the path of jihad in the way of God as commanded in the Holy Qur'an, offering lives and wealth for His cause and trusting in His promise of victory for the faithful. It also reaffirmed what it described as a principled, faith-based, and moral stance against the 'tyranny of the age,' represented by global Zionism and its 'corrupt arms,' namely the United States and the Israeli enemy, as well as their Western allies and others.

The statement said: 'We stand against the unbelieving regimes in obedience to Allah and in commitment to His directives, we prepare day and night to confront and defeat them, by Allah's will, power, and support,' pointing to remarks by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in his recent speech regarding full readiness, with 'hands on the trigger' in terms of military escalation and action whenever developments require it. It described the current confrontation as a battle for the entire nation against what it called the 'Greater Israel' project, which it said seeks to impose the authority of Zionist leaders such as Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir over the region and turn its peoples into subordinates.

The statement affirmed support for the Iranian Muslim people, its Islamic system, its army, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as support for Hezbollah, noting that they are fighting the nation's battle on behalf of all. It expressed pride in what it described as their 'great heroism' and the strikes they carry out against Israeli targets and U.S. bases in the region, also praising the operations of the Iraqi resistance.

The statement called on Arab and Islamic governments that host foreign military bases to review their positions and 'repent to Allah' for such policies, demanding the expulsion of U.S. bases from Islamic countries, describing them as a burden and a disgrace for those regimes. It strongly condemned strikes carried out by Israel and the United States against civilian targets in some countries in the region, saying they aim to drag those states into fighting under the banner of Israeli leadership, warning against being drawn into confrontations that would not serve their interests.

The statement also called on the peoples of the Islamic nation to increase awareness of the dangers facing them, to take serious and effective action to confront them, relying on Allah and trusting in His promised victory for the righteous.
