Taiz Traffic Department Hosts Cultural Evening for Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Taiz: The Taiz Traffic Department held a cultural and speech evening on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, Taiz Traffic Director Brig. Gen. Fatik Al-Shamsi highlighted the religious significance of commemorating the occasion, saying it offers an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life, strengthen faith, solidarity, social cohesion, and renew commitment to confronting aggression.

He stated that the Yemeni people's adherence to their faith-based identity and emulation of the Prophet's values embody the saying, 'Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni.' He also reviewed Yemen's resilience, growing military, intelligence capabilities, describing its support for Gaza and confrontation with global powers as a historic struggle.

Al-Shamsi called for continued mobilization and broad participation in the major celebration to be held at Al-Rasoul Al-Azam Square in Mawiyah on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal, marking the Prophet's birthday.

Rajeh Al-Miqdad, a member of the Mobilization Committee, said the occasion represents a renewed opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and uphold values of patience, sacrifice, solidarity and defense of the nation's causes and holy sites.

He emphasized the values of justice, mercy, solidarity, and support for the oppressed promoted by the Prophet's message, stressing the importance of cultural and awareness activities that reinforce these values and strengthen ties to the Prophet's life.
