Sana'a:Discussion on cooperation between the Tax and Customs Authority and the investment sector took place as Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, met with Dr. Mohammed Al-Somali, Undersecretary for the Investment Sector at the General Authority for Endowments (Awqaf) and Guidance.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on supporting investment activities and streamlining procedures for both entities. It included discussions on shared cooperation areas and the investment projects of the General Authority for Endowments.
The discussions also aimed to regulate and improve tax and customs procedures to ensure smooth transaction processing while safeguarding state rights in line with existing laws and regulations.
