Tenders Supervisory Authority Urges Tender Committees to Ensure Required Documents Are Included with Bids

Sanaa: The Supreme Tenders and Auctions Supervisory Authority has emphasized the importance for all tender committees within government entities to ensure the completeness of all fundamental documents accompanying bid submissions.



According to Yemen News Agency, a circular was issued to ministers, governors, heads of authorities, institutions, public bodies, central agencies, and universities. It emphasized that applicants for tenders and auctions are required to attach all necessary cards and documents as specified in the implementing regulations of the Tenders Law.



The Authority clarified that the essential documents required alongside bid submissions include the Contractors Registration and Classification Certificate, the Tax Card, the Sales Tax Certificate, the Social Insurance and Zakat cards, and the Professional Practice License. All these documents must be valid at the time of submission.
