Lahj: Three large rallies were held on Friday in al-Qabaitah district, Lahj governorate, under the slogan 'Mobilization and Readiness. In Support of the Qur'an and Palestine,' denouncing the U.S. insult to the Holy Qur'an and declaring readiness for the next stage of confrontation. Participants affirmed their steadfast stance against U.S.-Israeli aggression and reiterated support for the Palestinian people, condemning the Qur'an desecration as part of a broader campaign targeting Islam and its sacred sites.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rallies stressed firm adherence to the Holy Qur'an, declaring any insult to it an attack on the entire Muslim nation, and called on Muslim peoples to mobilize, confront repeated insults, and continue boycotting U.S. and Israeli products.
A statement held the United States, Britain, and Israel fully responsible for the repeated offenses, denounced the recent gas deal between Egypt and Israel, and called for its cancellation.
