Dhamar: Dhamar governorate on Friday witnessed large-scale public rallies in 50 squares across all districts under the slogan 'Mobilization and Readiness. In Support of the Qur'an and Palestine.' Participants, led by the governor, deputy governors, and local, executive, mobilization, and community leaders, raised copies of the Holy Qur'an in reverence and chanted slogans denouncing repeated U.S. and Zionist insults to the Qur'an and Islamic sanctities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the crowds described the insult to the Qur'an as a blatant attack on Islam's holiest symbol and a provocation to Muslims worldwide, calling on the Islamic nation to stage protests and boycott U.S. and Israeli products. Speaking in Dhamar city, Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti said such insults are not isolated acts but systematic attempts to test the reaction of the Muslim world, warning that silence could lead to further restrictions on Islam and Muslims in Western countries.

A statement issued by the rallies affirmed that the repeated insults to the Qur'an are part of a broader U.S.-Israeli-British campaign targeting Islam and Muslims, coinciding with ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine and the region. The statement reaffirmed Yemen's firm stance in defending Islamic sanctities, supporting the Palestinian people, rejecting any justification of the insults under 'freedom of expression,' and calling for continued mobilization, boycotts, and readiness to confront hostile plots against the nation.
