Women’s Rallies in Sana’a Condemn Insults to Holy Qur’an and Support Palestinians

Sana'a: The Women's Authority organized angry women's rallies in the districts of Manakhah and Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah in Sana'a Governorate, condemning repeated American insults to the Holy Qur'an and expressing support for the Palestinian people.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies held in the city of Manakhah and the areas of Al-Maghrabah, Bayt Al-Mudda'i, Al-Hudood, and Masar in Manakhah District, as well as the areas of Al-Sabt and Bayt Al-Qal'abi in Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah District, affirmed their full and unwavering adherence to the Holy Qur'an. They held the United States, Britain, and the Zionist enemy fully responsible for these repeated insults, which they said reflect open hostility toward Islam and Muslims.

The participants announced the continuation of all legitimate forms of practical action, foremost among them the economic boycott of American and Israeli goods. A statement issued by the rallies affirmed the steadfast faith-based stance of the free women of Manakhah and Al-Haymah in support of the oppressed Muslim Palestinian people, noting that these campaigns come within the framework of a comprehensive Zionist Jewish war targeting Islam, Muslims, and their holy sites, led by the United States, the Zionist enemy, and Britain.

The statement explained that these hostile campaigns coincide with the continued daily crimes of the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people, its ongoing attacks on Lebanon, its violations of Syrian territory, and its direct threats against Yemen, with American and British support, amid Arab inaction and shameful global silence.

It emphasized that the large turnout in these rallies reflects the faith-based identity that distinguishes the Yemeni people and aims to raise societal awareness of the importance of defending the Holy Qur'an and protecting Islamic holy sites from any attacks, declaring an absolute rejection of all American and Zionist insults to the Holy Qur'an and Islamic sanctities.

The statement renewed the Women's Authority's support for the Muslim Palestinian people, for confronting plots and conspiracies targeting religion, the nation, and the homeland, affirming steadfastness on the side of truth until victory is achieved. It also called on all societal forces to unite ranks and protect Islamic holy sites from all attempts of insult and violation.
