Sana'a: The first round of the ninth Yemen Telecom Corporate Football Championship concluded in Sana'a, with three wins and one draw recorded in four matches.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Group C, Flosak Wallet made a strong tournament debut by defeating the Ministry of Finance with a score of 6-3. Flosak's victory was fueled by Osama Saad Al-Din, who netted four goals, and Nabil Noman, who added two more. Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Sarouri was the sole scorer for the Ministry of Finance, contributing all three goals for his team.
In Group D, Yemen Kuwait Bank secured a 4-1 win against newcomers Sana'a Water. Yusuf Al-Sayadi was instrumental in the victory, scoring twice, while Majd Al-Dhubhani and an own goal rounded out the scoring for Yemen Kuwait Bank. Sana'a Water's lone goal came from Ashraf Al-Subai'i.
The other Group D encounter saw the Zakat Authority and TeleYemen battle to a 2-2 draw. Ammar Al-Barawi and Aziz Al-Quwati were the goal scorers for the Zakat Authority, whereas Baligh Al-Kahlani and Mansour Al-Mutri found the back of the net for TeleYemen.
The round concluded with the Ministry of Youth and Sports edging out the Standards and Metrology Authority 3-2. Ali Al-Nono was a key player for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, scoring twice, while Waleed Al-Radhi added a third goal. Zaid Al-Hubaishi scored both goals for the Standards Authority.
