Sanaa:Several governorates in Yemen are expected to experience varying and scattered thundery rainfall over the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has issued a weather bulletin forecasting thunderstorms of varying intensity in parts of the Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Al Mahwit, and Hajjah governorates, as well as areas of the Tihama Plain and the western coast.

Scattered rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunder, is also likely in parts of Socotra, Saada, Dhamar, Al Dhale'a, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan governorates.

The center has issued warnings for citizens and motorists to avoid valley beds and flood channels due to the risk of thunderstorms. It also advised caution in elevated areas and near metal structures and tall trees, and recommended refraining from using mobile phones during thundery rainfall.
