Total Assets of Islamic Banks in Sultanate of Oman Rise by 19.5%

Muscat: The total assets of Islamic banks and windows in the Sultanate of Oman rose to approximately 9.2 billion Omani rials, representing 19.5% of the total assets of the banking sector by the end of October 2025, marking an increase of 10.8% compared to the same period last year. According to Yemen News Agency, the total outstanding financing granted by these entities increased by 10.4% to reach approximately 7.4 billion Omani rials. Deposits at Islamic banks and windows also increased by 11.9% to reach approximately 7.3 billion Omani rials by the end of October 2025.
