Sana'a: Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei on Wednesday conducted inspections at several tourist destinations in the capital Sana'a and the surrounding province to assess preparations for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Ali al-Yafei directed tourism sector officials to coordinate with relevant authorities to enhance readiness for receiving visitors. The minister stressed the importance of securing roads, parks, and tourist destinations with necessary safety measures in place.
Dr. al-Yafei highlighted the need to finalize arrangements and ensure the availability of services at tourist sites, focusing on cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations. He urged the public to follow safety instructions, particularly at locations like dams and waterfalls.
Accompanied by First Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Essam al-Sunini during the visits, the minister emphasized the importance of raising community awareness about safety and environmental conservation. He instructed relevant parties to collaborate with the ministry's operations and local service agencies to enhance services and provide a welcoming environment for citizens during the Eid celebrations.
