Ibb: The General Department of Traffic Police has enhanced its Ibb branch by supplying several fully equipped patrol vehicles to bolster field operations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the department's statement highlighted that this initiative was executed following directives from the Ministry of Interior. It forms part of a comprehensive traffic police development plan that aligns with the Ministry's broader modernization efforts.
The statement emphasized that the additional patrols aim to improve traffic management across the governorates, enhance public services, boost traffic discipline, and mitigate congestion and road accidents.
The Traffic Police further noted that the development plan's implementation will persist across the country's governorates. This will be achieved through the provision of equipment, personnel capacity building, and the adoption of modern technologies to establish a safer and more efficient traffic system.
