Al-Sadda: The football championship for summer school students at the sub-district level concluded today in Al-Sadda District, Ibb Governorate. The tournament's final match took place at Dhafar Sports Club stadium under the supervision of Captain Nashwan Aziz, where Al-Za'ala Schools team emerged victorious, defeating Al-A'mas Schools team with a score of 2-0.
According to Yemen News Agency, the month-long tournament featured participation from 13 teams. During the closing ceremony, AbdulSalam Al-Aghbari, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the district, highlighted the significance of sports in youth development and the nurturing of physical talents. He also commended the efforts of summer course organizers and this year's sponsors.
Following the conclusion of the final match, the championship trophy and gold medals were awarded to the Al-Za'ala Schools team. Meanwhile, the Al-A'mas Schools team received the runner-up cup and silver medals as recognition for their performance in the tournament.
